IRMCo’s role
The EduNatHer project targeted the development of an educational webGIS platform addressed to young people (undergraduate/graduate students) from different nations interested to learn about earth sciences. IRMCo’s role was to develop a set of interactive e-learning modules on the natural and cultural heritage of the island of Gozo.

IRMCo successfully delivered 5 web-based GIS modules on the natural and cultural heritage of the island of Gozo on the following thematic topics:
- Module 1 Gozo today
- Module 2 Geological setting
- Module 3 Water Resources
- Module 4 Karst Heritage
- Module 5 Vulnerability Mapping
The design and development of these web-based GIS e-learning modules were presented at two events:
- Italo-Maltese Workshop, Integration of the geomorphological environment and cultural heritage for tourism promotion and hazard prevention, Malta 24-27 April 2007: Development of a web-based GIS promoting the natural and cultural heritage of the karst island Gozo
- MCST Research EXPO, 3-7 November 2008: Educational Strategies for the Promotion of Natural Heritage
